Domestic Periodic Inspection Reports

This is a full electrical inspection that will give you a complete report on the condition of your electrical installation.
This service is used if buying, selling a home, if an insurance company or mortgage company wants you to have one. It is also recommended that you inspect your electrical installation from time to time to ensure that it is safe to use.

Domestic Periodic Inspection Report Prices

£70 for 1st fuse board. £10 for each additional fuse board.
(Each fuse board requires a new certificate)

Plus £22 per circuit.

So, for example, if the house has 1 fuse board (box/consumer unit) containing 6 circuits the price would be:

£70 + (6 x £22) = £202

If the house had an additional garage/shed fuse board containing 2 circuits then the price would be:

£70 + £10 + (8 x £22) = £256

Commercial & Industrial Inspection Reports

Commercial premises, Businesses and 3 phase systems need inspection to ensure that hey are safe to use.
What are the maximum periods allowed between Periodic Inspections?

• Commercial Installations - 5 Years
• Industrial Installations - 3 Years
• Buildings open to the public - 1 Year
• External Installations - 3 Years
• Caravan Parks - 1 Year
• Short Term Installations - 3 months
• Site Installations - 3 months

Commercial Periodic Inspection Report Prices

£80 for 1st fuse board. £15 for each additional fuse board.
(Each fuse board requires a new certificate)

Plus £25 per circuit.

So, for example, if the business has 1 fuse board containing 6 circuits the price would be:

£80 + (6 x £25) = £230

If the business had an additional fuse board feeding another area containing 2 circuits then the price would be:

£80 + £15 + (8 x £25) = £295

The above price includes all relevant BS7671 certification and report.
